NEBRC Director, Rebecca Chapman Named Business Leader of the Year at the North East England Chamber of Commerce, Inspiring Female Awards

NERBC Director, Superintendent Rebecca Chapman has been named Business Leader of the Year at Inspiring Female Awards. Organised by the North East England Chamber of Commerce, the awards were established to recognise business women at all stages of their career from around the region.

Commenting on the award win, Rebecca said: “I am extremely honoured to have won this award and very proud to have been recognised for my role in inspiring business women of today and tomorrow. 

“Congratulations to all who were shortlisted and the many examples of female strength and achievement from across our region and beyond, which these awards have very deservinglyshone a light on.” 

In further recognition for the work and impact of the NEBRC, Joe Cockcroft, NEBRC Student Coordinator, received Highly Commended in the Rising Star category at the recently hosted North East’s IT and Technology Awards: Dynamites

These latest awards follow the announcement that the NEBRC was named Police Team of the Year at the 2022 National Cyber Awards.

The NEBRC provides services to businesses delivered by talented university under graduatesin partnership with those at the forefront of evolving technology to help minimise the risk posed by cyber criminals.
